Classification in Para and Tetra. All competitions are registered with the OLV and measured by AIMS.
PLEASE NOTE
Runners below the age of 18 require a declaration of consent by their parent or guardian in order to take part.
Participation on bicycles, roller skates and other sports equipment is not permitted.
It is not permitted for non-competitors to accompany the runners (in particular on bicycles, roller skates or other sports equipment) and this will result in the disqualification of the runner involved.
Special security staff will carry out checks along the course!
Any runner changing their starting number will be disqualified.

Performance of the Organizer
The following services are included:
Participation in the 9th OMV Linz Donau Marathon
- High - quality finisher`s medal in all competitions
- Linz Marathon T-shirt (for the first 1.000 Half Marathon registrations)
- Linz Marathon T-shirt for all runners
- Food and drink at refreshing stations every 5 kilometres and food and drink at the finish
- Showers and changing facilities in the Linz Parkbad.
- Free massage service for all runners from 12 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Medical care by the Red Cross
- Start pack with starting number, safety pins, marathon programme newspaper
- Foil blanket in the finishing area
- Confirmation of participation
- Certificate and Resultslist mailed without additional charge
Inline Skating:
The first 100 participants registering in advance for the Half Marathon will receive a souvenir T-shirt. Other services as for runners (see above).

TIMING
Times will be taken using Pentek-Timing with Champion Chip. Chip information at www.pentek-timing.at (No time measurement without chip!)
Every participant requires a chip in his shoe. If you do not own a chip, you can rent one when you collect your start materials at the Linz Brucknerhaus.
Participants who only want to RENT a chip for the Linz Donau Marathon will be charged Euro 10.00 for a WHITE ONE-DAY CHIP for single use when they collect their starting number. This fee includes a deposit of Euro 7.00, which will be reimbursed if the chip is returned by 5p.m. on the day of the event. Chips that are not returned will be automatically considered sold, but cannot be used again.

Miscellaneous
If you take part in the event without wearing a chip, it will not be possible to determine your final time. You will therefore not receive a certificate and you will not appear on the resultslist. Further information about the chip is available at www.pentek-timing.at

Protective Equipment for Inline Skating Participants
The wearing of helmets is compulsory. Protective equipment is urgently recommended. In the urban area isolated tramlines and short sections of cobblestones must be crossed!

How to get there / Parking
Include sufficient time for your journey.
Do not ruin your chances for a good race by a stressful start or even by getting there too late.

Red Cross-Medical assistance in the start/finish area and along the course.

Registration of relay teams
Each member of a relay team must complete a registration form. The name of the relay team must be stated without fail. In the case of a relay team the sex of the respective runner must be stated and also the order in which the members will run (1st runner, 2nd runner, 3rd runner, 4th runner).
Planned distances:
1st Runner: 8,70 km then handover 1 to 2
under the Steyreggerbruecke (Steyregg bridge) (bus transfer from the Holzstrasse - near the Brucknerhaus and back)
2nd Runner: 14.10 km then handover 2 to 3
corner of Untere Donaulaende - Gruberstrasse (3 walking minutes to the Brucknerhaus)
3rd Runner: 12.70 km then handover 3 to 4
corner of Wienerstrasse / Muldenstrasse, bus transfer to the Holzstrasse
4th Runner: 6.695 km - runs to the finish on the Linz main square
Total distance: 42,195 km
